The women's team are a member of the Northern League playing fixtures against Sheffield, Leeds, Liverpool, Stockport, etc. They continue to play regular matches against Midland’s schools, universities and clubs.
The season culminates in the English Lacrosse Association Clubs and Colleges Tournament in March. BLC won the First Team Trophy in 2001, the Second Team Trophy (jointly with Nottingham Club) in 2006 and more recently in 2011 BLC came runners up, narrowly loosing to Centaurs during sudden death in the final.
