About us

Birmingham Lacrosse Club was formed in the 1930's and has gone from strength to strength to the present day. Our women's team is a member of the South West Lacrosse League, playing fixtures against Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Cirencester and a few others!

We have a range of experience throughout the club, from players brand new to the sport, or those that haven't played since school, to University and International players.

Committee

Chair

Francesca Wilkinson

Cesca has played with Birmingham Lacrosse for 5 years. Having previously played for the Scotland National B team and various teams in Scotland accumulating 11 years of experience.

The is Cesca's 3rd year as chair and 4th on committee.

Secretary

Nathalie Cramp

Nat has played for Birmingham Lacrosse for 2 years. Picking up a stick for the 1st time in October 2021.

You'll see her whizzing about in attack. She also owns one of our club mascots- Reggie the golden retriever.

Treasurer

Joanna McVicar

Jo has player lacrosse for 16 years, over 6 of them with Birmingham.

Jo is into her 5th year on the committee. You will find her everywhere and anywhere on the pitch or on the side-lines with our club mascots- dachshunds Frank and Pablo.

Co- captain

Janika Macmillan

Janika has played with Birmingham for 1 year previously playing with University of Birmingham 1st team.

Defence is her preferred position but don't be surprised to find her up in attack scoring some goals for us as well.

Bryony Smith

Bryony is in her 2nd second season with Birmingham lacrosse. Bryony previously played with her Co-captain Janika in the University of Birmingham 1st team.

Social Secretary

Olivia Nash

Liv has been with the club for 3 years and into her 2nd year on the committee. Liv previously played at university.

She is our resident speedster so you'll find her with Nat up in attack.

Molly Reilly

Molly is into her 4th season with Birmingham Lacrosse, having never played before joining us. She is onto her 3rd year on the committee moving from secretary to social sec this year.

Welfare and Safeguarding

Bob Sharples

Bob was a previous member of Birmingham men's club. When that team disbanded he moved over to support our team bringing with him years of experience with England Lacrosse and Sport England.
